Pre-Care / After Care Instructions

Permanent Make-Up Pre-Care Instructions

  • NO drinking alcohol or smoking at least 24 hours before your appointment

  • NO blood thinning mediations at least 24 hours before appointment (OTC pain relievers) unless directed by your Doctor

  • Clean and exfoliate the treatment area

  • NO tweezing, waxing or threading within 3 days

  • Absolutely NO chemical peels within 30 days of your appointment 

  • Avoid caffeinated drinks the day of your appointment

  • Always advise your Artist of any medications, health problems or allergies

  • NO Botox or fillers for 6 weeks

  • LIP BLUSH CLIENTS: If you have had previous problems with cold sores, fever blisters or mouth ulcers (even once in your life), the procedure is likely to re-activate the virus. It is recommended that you obtain a prescription from your Health Care Provider for an antiviral medication (such as Valtrex or Zovirax). The medication must be started at least 2 days prior to the procedure and finished at least 2 days after the procedure.

Lip Blush After Care Instructions

Day 1

Gently blot lips with a clean gauze to absorb any fluid. Avoid getting fluid or food particles on your lips for 24 hours. 

Day 2-7

Apply a rice sized amount of healing ointment to the lips multiple times a day to prevent them from getting dry. Gently wash the lips with a mild soap 2-3 times a day to keep area clean.

Day 7-14

continue to keep your lips hydrated for the best results. 

Tips During Healing

  • NO rubbing, scratching or picking

  • NO make-up on the treated area

  • NO swimming or excessive sweating

  • NO facials, scrubs or chemical peels

  • NO kissing

  • NO botox or fillers for 30 days

  • Avoid food touching your lips

  • Drink from a straw 

  • Use a clean pillow case

  • Use a clean ice pack for swelling

Ombre Powder Brows After Care Instructions

Day 1

Gently blot the treated aera with a clean gauze to absorb any fluid. Avoid getting the brows wet  for 24 hours. 

Day 2-14

With clean hands, gently wash the brows 2-3 times a day using a mild soap. Gently pat dry and apply a rice size amount of ointment on each brow. Reduce amount of ointment to 1 time a day for oily skin types.

Tips During Healing

  • NO rubbing, scratching or picking

  • NO make-up on the treated area until

       scabs have fallen off

  • NO swimming or excessive sweating

  • NO botox, facials or fillers for 4 weeks

  • Avoid direct sunlight

  • Avoid hair removal near treated area

  • Use a clean pillow case

  • Use a clean ice pack for swelling
